Original Owner
By Mike_in_Tejas | on Sunday, October 21, 2018
I purchased this car in 2007 and I am the original owner. It’s now October 2018 and the car continues to run great. Over the years I have had to perform basic maint. I learned on YouTube how to do most things on my own. It’s generally an easy car to work on but if you don’t know how to change the oil be ready to spend 100 bucks at least at Joffy Lube. A local shop will do it for 149.00 and the dealer at least 200.00. I have replaced wipers, filters, bulbs all on my own. I have had the dealer and local shop do the fluids like brake fluid, transmission and coolant. I could probably do it but not worth the mess. I have done my own brakes. Easy all on YouTube. I have done the spark plugs and vanos. Next big project will be the valve cover gasket which looks like it’s due for a change soon. Lots of work but with basic tools for bmw which I buy at Harbor Freight should be able to do it. I also changed out my coils which was easy. I purchase everything I need on Amazon. Cheap and fast. I am a prime member. The car runs as good as if it was new. I love driving it. It’s a bit of a choppy ride and not the smoothest but it’s fun to drive. I have a Lexus RX350 2013 and a 2018 Honda CRV and I always like picking my bmw to go run errands. Car can do 80 miles and hour and feel solid and strong. I use run flats which I have replaced 4 times. They last about 30k miles. Only thing I am not fond of but no room for spare so when they wear out I replace them with the OEM and just accept it. I do have a code reader. Every once in a while I get a code for a bulb or something and it reads it, I fix it and I clear it. I purchased the code reader on Amazon. I am keeping the car up because in 2021 I am going to hand it down to Dash my grandson. I have been taking care of it for him. It’s safe, has Bluetooth, air bags all around and it’s nice looking too. Welll I hope this helps. I will be honest because of the initial expense of maint I turned to a Lexus and later a Honda but when the X7 suv comes out I am getting one. Now that I have driven lots of cars I have to say I like BMWs the best. Thanks Mike… - 5.0
driving enthousiest will love this car!

I have had my 328i with sport package now for over 3 years. It has been a great car to own and drive. I have only owned sports cars and this is one of the best. Also have a M3, and for traveling I like my 328 better. The stereo and handling are the best. German cars have a reputation for being problematic but I haven't had any big issues with either of my beamers. I do recommend avoiding the dealerships and changing the oil more frequently than BMW suggest if you want to keep it long term.… - 5.0
Certified Pre-Owned
By JuJu | on Saturday, December 03, 2011
I bought my 3-Series after searching for months and this was last resort that I stopped at BMW to see what used cars they had on the lot. I haven't bought a used car in over a decade and wasn't thrilled with the idea of buying them again because of headaches. I saw this car in my price range and fell in love. The warranty was better than any new cars I was looking at so was the price. The car is fantastic and drives like a dream. The car is mechanically sound and the body was in great condition. I have been driving it for over a year and will buy again. I would highly recommend a certified pre-owned BMW…
